Carol Ann Cole is a best-selling author, a professional speaker and the founder of the Comfort Heart Initiative...having raised over 1.5 million dollars to date for cancer research and other programs in a partnership with The Canadian Cancer Society.

The author of five fiction novels in The Paradise Series, Carol Ann is passionate about her writing. She listens to her characters carefully ensuring that every character enjoys a turn on the dance floor.  

Wearing her non-fiction hat once again, after a decade, Carol Ann offers her fifth book. Learning to Slow Dance with Footprints of Kindness will be published in the spring of 2024.  Including an update to Lesson Learned upside the head as well as her memoir, Comfort Heart, Carol Ann shares stories about her own life's experience not yet in print as well as numerous quotes from her mother's journals.

Carol Ann has battled and beaten breast cancer twice and is often asked to share that experience. Cancer survivors relate to Carol Ann and she connects easily with them.

With presentations that speak to the balance we all seek between work and home life, Carol Ann can speak to change, teamwork, communication, and how to stay motivated in all that we do. 

Already a Member of the Order of Canada, Carol Ann has received numerous additional awards including; the Queen Elizabeth 11 Silver and Golden Jubilee Medals, the elite Maclean's Honour Role, the Terry Fox Citation of Honour, Bell Canada Heroes Award and L'Oreals dozen outstanding Canadians celebrating International Women's Day.
